Making foundation look perfect
I grabbed this from Glamour Magazine. I always love new tricks of the trade. I didn't like foundation, or to put tons on my face a few years ago, but now as I'm getting older, I realize it's what I need to do.
1. Find your perfect color. Try it out on your jawline and check it out in daylight to see if you have a perfect match. The color is perfect for you if it disappears without blending. A trick Glamour mentioned was, if you can't afford expensive foundation, have a person behind a cosmetics counter in a department store help you pick out the right color, ask for a sample, then try to match it at a drug store.
2. Prepping your skin. You need clean skin and it needs to be moisturized. Wait a few minutes after applying moisturizer so your skin can soak it up.
3. Primer! I am new to the primer world, but I hear it's FAB! Apply primer (usually a clear gel) before foundation, after moisturizer. It minimizes pores, and makes foundation look smooth on your skin. You can also just wear primer by itself on a lazy day to give yourself the look of a perfect complexion and mattify your skin.
4. If you want little coverage, use your fingers. For more, use a sponge. For everyday, only apply foundation where you need it. To get that airbrushed look, apply everywhere, even eyes, starting in the middle, and working your way out. Believe it or not, applying tons for photos doesn't actually make you look better, so less it more.
5. Apply concealer after foundation ( I didn't know this). The base of foundation keeps concealer from creasing. Look for a lightweight liquid a shade lighter than your skin. Use a small, pointy brush to cover the darkest part of your under-eye circles.
6. Finish with luminous powder. Try a translucent powders that reflect light. It helps skin glow and will actually show less shine. Dust it with a big brush in a 'W' motion, starting at your hairline on one side, swoop down to your cheekbone, up to the bridge of your nose, back down the other cheek, then up again to the opposite hairline.
This is the best primer out there.
Chanel's powder foundation goes on like second skin.

cute celeb hairstyles
I always think of a celebrity when I think of hair I want. Some I'm not brave enough to try... Not having my OWN personal hairstylist to throw in some extensions as quick as a phone call keeps my hair simple. I came across these on yahoo.
But, if I had the guts... I would so try out a pixie! I've always dreamed of wash and go hair.
I've tried the "bob". I have always loved bobs. I have great (and frightening) memories of Bumble and Bumble's hair "bootcamp" in NYC, learning to cut a fab bob. The new bob is less harsh, less angled, and I love the look with waves. Maggie's (on left) is TDF!
So this is sort of what I have now. I always long for long hair, but as it grows, I start to hate it and want it cut. Mine is a little more round too. I am trying to grow out my side swept bangs too, which I've had on and off for 11 years.
I don't think these are the best pics as an example of long, layered hair. I've seen prettier hair. But, long hair with layers is always beautiful. Make sure when your hair is long, add layers!

The triple G's. Golden Globes Gowns
Here's my quick rundown...
Love these 3 dresses. I always love voluptuous Women, so anything I see them in I will like. January Jones' dress (on right) is quite different, but it's great. I love the color of the red, her hair was perfect, her lips were too, and she has a body to pull this off.
I think this, by far, was my favorite dress. It has everything I love. The princess style, the glitter and sparkle...FAB! I'm not sure about the hair though. Maybe if it was more "done" it would be good.
